Trump Mobile Hacked: Data of 3,615 Customers Leaked

Trump Mobile has been hacked again. A new ransomware group called BYOD claims it stole and leaked the personal data of 3,615 customers.
The leaked files include names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses and order details, according to Straight Arrow News, which first reported the breach. The data was posted on BYOD’s dark web leak site.
BYOD says it got in by infecting an employee of Liberty Mobile, the Florida company that operates Trump Mobile’s network, with malware. The group claims Trump Mobile replied that it had “no team to handle this.”
The breach also exposed personal information of Trump Organization executives, including chief information officer Eric Brunet. No data about President Donald Trump’s family was in the dump.
It is the second breach in about a month. A different group claimed last month it had stolen data on 4,000 Trump Mobile users.
PCMag identified three customers on the leaked list who confirmed doing business with Trump Mobile. One confirmed records of a cancelled $30 unlimited plan.
