TCS Q2 Profit Rises 15% to Rs 13,884 Crore

Tata Consultancy Services beat second-quarter estimates, with net profit rising 14.9 percent to Rs 13,884 crore.
Revenue reached Rs 73,188 crore for the quarter. The company's annualized AI revenue run-rate rose 19 percent to $3.1 billion, doubling as AI services drove growth.
TCS also declared a second interim dividend of Rs 12 per share, rewarding shareholders. The results were reported on October 9.
The numbers came despite subdued constant-currency revenue growth. TCS reported its weakest September-quarter revenue growth in three years, reflecting pressure on IT spending.
IT stocks have been under pressure. The U.S. suspended major outsourcing firms from a key green-card programme, adding to the sector's worries.
Analysts will watch whether AI-led deals can offset the slowdown in traditional services. TCS remains India's largest IT services company by revenue."" The dividend will be paid to shareholders on record. TCS said deal wins remained healthy across key markets. The company continues to invest in AI talent and platforms.
