SentraForge AI plans Rs 22,634 crore AI campus in Odisha

SentraForge AI is advancing plans for a 120 MW Sovereign AI Infrastructure project in Odisha. The project carries a proposed investment of Rs 22,634 crore.
The company is backed by GVPR Engineers Limited as its core equity backer and infrastructure anchor. It is a joint venture between Megha Engineering and Infrastructures and GVPR Engineers.
The facility will support high-density AI compute, enterprise workloads and next-generation digital infrastructure. It is designed to scale as AI compute needs grow.
The Odisha government has identified a 140-acre site at Tangiapada near Bhubaneswar’s Info Valley for a data centre hub. The SentraForge project will come up there alongside an HCLTech-Sarvam AI facility.
The project is part of about Rs 1.42 lakh crore in data centre and AI investments cleared by the state’s High-Level Clearance Authority this week.
Unlike regular data centres, AI facilities need high-density computing, advanced cooling and fast networking. The campus will serve government, enterprise and research users. The aim is to keep critical workloads inside an Indian-controlled environment as AI demand grows.
