Pune hosts India’s biggest EV, battery and solar expo

Pune is hosting India’s largest exhibition for electric vehicles, batteries and solar energy this weekend. The event runs from October 2 to 4 at the Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre in Pimpri-Chinchwad.
The eighth edition of the IIEV Show runs alongside the India Battery Show and the India Solar Show, covering the full clean-energy supply chain. Organisers say more than 150 exhibitors are taking part, with over 15,000 trade visitors and 5,000 dealers expected.
The shows feature electric vehicles, battery technology, charging infrastructure, solar PV modules, energy storage and smart grid solutions. The event is organised by Futurex Trade Fair and Events.
The exhibition comes as India pushes to build domestic manufacturing capacity in clean energy. The government has set ambitious targets for electric vehicle adoption and renewable energy generation.
Industry watchers say the event reflects growing business interest in India’s energy transition. Pune is a major automotive hub, making it a natural venue for the show.
