Palantir names Armada partner for sovereign AI data centers

Palantir Technologies has named Armada as its inaugural Certified Modular Data Center Partner, extending its sovereign AI offering into physical infrastructure. The partnership was announced on October 1 and reported through a Business Wire release.
The deal pairs Palantir’s Sovereign AI Operating System, built on AIP, Ontology, Foundry and Apollo, with Armada’s Galleon modular data centers, the Armada Platform control layer and the Sovereign AI Grid. Customers will be able to run open-weight AI models on computing, data and hardware they control outright, including in air-gapped environments.
The pitch targets governments and regulated enterprises that want AI workloads on infrastructure they fully own rather than rented hyperscaler cloud capacity. Hardware will be manufactured in the United States and allied nations, and deployments can go live in months where power already exists. Commercial terms were not disclosed. Armada closed an oversubscribed $230 million Series B in May 2026 at a $2 billion valuation.
