Oppo has launched the F35 Pro 5G and F35 5G in India, marking ten years of its F series lineup in the country. The launch took place on October 5.

The F35 Pro 5G is the headline model. It comes with a 144Hz AMOLED screen, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide front camera and a large 8,000mAh battery. The phone also carries an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.

The standard F35 5G shares much of the design language at a lower price point. Both phones run on MediaTek chipsets, which had earlier appeared on benchmark listings ahead of the launch.

The launch comes ahead of the festive sales season, when brands typically push their mid-range offerings. Oppo will hope the big battery and high-refresh display help the F35 series stand out in a crowded segment.

The 8,000mAh battery on the Pro model is among the largest in its segment. Combined with the 144Hz display, Oppo is clearly targeting heavy users and gamers. The IP69K rating adds durability against dust and high-pressure water, a feature usually reserved for more expensive phones.
