Kerala-based edtech startup Wayvida has received Rs 3.25 crore in Microsoft cloud credits under the Microsoft for Startups programme, it was announced on September 28, 2026. Wayvida, founded by Gireesh Neyyar, offers an AI-powered platform that covers admissions, fee collection, attendance, communication and learning management in one ecosystem. Its products include an AI tutor and automated grading.

The support will strengthen the company’s AI infrastructure and cloud capacity. It will also help accelerate its international expansion through a white-labelled model.

Founder Gireesh Neyyar said the backing will strengthen the company’s AI capabilities and speed up its international roadmap, ANI reported. Neyyar made the remarks in a company statement.

The credit support gives the startup room to scale its AI offerings without heavy infrastructure costs. The backing adds cloud scale as Wayvida pursues international growth.
