Meta has expanded its smart glasses lineup at Connect 2026, headlined by the Meta Ray-Ban Display at $799 — a pair with an in-lens display controlled by the Neural Band, an electromyography wristband that translates subtle finger and wrist muscle movements into commands.

The Display glasses offer messaging, video calling, translation, live captions, navigation and music playback through a high-resolution full-colour display positioned at the edge of the user's field of vision. Meta said the Neural Band is the result of years of research with nearly 200,000 participants and can accommodate users with limited mobility.

The lineup also includes the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 at $449 with a 12-megapixel camera and 3K video, and the camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio at $349 aimed at privacy-conscious buyers. Meta announced the Display is expanding beyond the US to Canada, the UK, France, Italy and Germany, with online ordering now available. Industry analysts say Meta is betting that wrist-based neural input will become the defining interface for smart glasses, much as the touchscreen defined the smartphone era.
