Apple to launch three smart home products on October 13

Apple plans to introduce three new smart home products on Tuesday, October 13, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
The lineup includes the long-awaited smart home hub, a new HomePod mini and a new Apple TV 4K. All three were originally planned to launch in 2024 but were delayed.
The new HomePod mini and Apple TV will keep their existing designs but get faster chips to support Siri AI. The HomePod mini will also come in new colours, including pink and green.
All three products will showcase the upgraded Siri AI. Apple is also working on a privacy-focused home security camera that can detect which room a person is in without recording video.
A higher-end version of the smart home hub is also in development. It will feature a 9-inch display mounted on a robotic arm that can swivel 360 degrees.
The larger HomePod will not be updated in October, according to the report. It has not been refreshed since 2023.
