Google brings Gemini Auto Browse to India

Google has rolled out Gemini in Chrome to Android users across India, along with the agentic Auto Browse feature for paid subscribers.
Gemini in Chrome is now available free to all Android users in India. It can summarise pages, answer questions about open tabs, connect with Google Keep and Calendar, and generate images with Nano Banana.
The headline addition is Auto Browse, available to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers on desktop and Android in India.
Auto Browse goes beyond answers: it can book parking for an event, fill out long forms or order groceries, working across multiple websites on the user’s behalf.
Google says the feature is secure-by-design. Its models are trained to detect prompt-injection attacks, and Gemini asks for confirmation before sensitive actions.
The Android rollout currently works on devices set to US or UK English, with wider language support coming. The desktop version already supports eight Indian languages.
Google first launched Auto Browse in select markets in January. India was not in the first group — until now.
