Google Launches Screenless Fitbit Air in India at Rs 13,999

Google has launched the Fitbit Air, a screenless fitness tracker, in India at Rs 13,999. Sales began on October 2 at the Google Store, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales.

The device is a small sensor pebble that sits in a band, with no display. It weighs 12 grams and all health data is viewed through the Google Health app on a paired smartphone.

It tracks 24/7 heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels, sleep stages and irregular heart rhythm alerts for atrial fibrillation. Battery life is rated at seven days, with a five-minute charge providing a full day of use.

The device works with Google Health Coach, an AI system that turns sensor data into fitness and sleep guidance. Buyers get a three-month trial of Google Health Premium.

In the US the device costs 99 dollars. The India price includes launch offers such as Rs 1,000 cashback on select bank cards. The tracker comes in four colours.
