Cisco unveils Dialog agents and Claude tie-up for Webex

Cisco has unveiled a new agentic framework for its Webex platform, alongside Claude Managed Agents, at its WebexOne 2026 event in Austin.
The centrepiece is Dialog, an agentic harness that lets AI agents keep working after conversations end, connecting people, agents and back-end systems. Dialog enters beta in the first quarter of 2027.
Under the Claude integration, users can invite agents into meetings with simple mentions, with the agents handling follow-ups, summaries and task execution. Planned support for A2A and MCP standards will let the agents work across platforms.
Chief Product Officer Jeetu Patel said the aim is to have agents working alongside people and teams, taking on the long tail of customer relationship work that humans rarely reach.
The event also brought RoomOS 27, the latest version of Cisco’s device operating system. The announcements signal Cisco’s push to make AI agents a core part of enterprise collaboration rather than a bolt-on feature.
