Anthropic Eyes Nasdaq IPO at Reported $2T Value

Anthropic, the maker of the Claude AI assistant, has reportedly selected Nasdaq as the venue for its initial public offering, targeting a listing in October or November 2026.
The company confidentially submitted a draft S-1 filing to regulators in June 2026, according to reporting citing people familiar with the plans. Reports put the target raise at about $100 billion at a valuation near $2 trillion, which would make it one of the largest public offerings in history.
Anthropic’s last confirmed private valuation was about $965 billion, after a $65 billion funding round in May 2026. Second-quarter revenue was reported at $11.5 billion, up from $787 million a year earlier, underlining the growth investors are being asked to pay for.
Neither the timing nor the valuation has been formally confirmed, and the company has not commented. A successful listing would create the first liquid public benchmark for a frontier AI lab.
