The Minnesota Vikings beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-16 on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium, moving to 3-0 while the Buccaneers dropped to 0-3.

Myles Price sparked Minnesota with an 86-yard punt return touchdown. Kyler Murray, making his first full start since a Week 1 concussion, completed 15 of 29 passes for 168 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Jordan Addison caught five passes for 90 yards, including a 41-yard score.

The Vikings’ defence dominated, sacking Baker Mayfield six times and holding Tampa Bay to 230 total yards and 2-of-17 on third down. Mayfield threw for 217 yards with a touchdown and an interception, but dislocated the thumb on his throwing hand late in the fourth quarter and will have an MRI on Monday.

Andrew Van Ginkel’s interception on fourth-and-13 sealed the win. Undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels finished the game for Tampa Bay after Mayfield’s injury, and Justin Jefferson left with a left ankle injury in the second quarter.

The win strengthens Minnesota’s position in the NFC race, while Tampa Bay faces a short week to regroup.
