Shreyas Iyer Hits Maiden T20I Ton As India Beat West Indies

Shreyas Iyer smashed his maiden T20I century as India beat West Indies by eight wickets in the first T20I in Lucknow.
The India captain struck an unbeaten 102 off 43 balls. His innings included 10 fours and six sixes. He reached his hundred in just 42 balls.
India chased down 172 in only 14.4 overs at the Ekana Cricket Stadium. They won with 32 balls to spare.
Iyer became only the third Indian captain to score a T20I hundred, after Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav.
He credited his long-time mentor Abhishek Nayar for the innings. Iyer said a recent conversation with Nayar helped him correct his mistakes.
