London Broncos rout Doncaster 78-6 to complete treble

London Broncos completed a famous treble with a crushing 78-6 victory over Doncaster in the Championship Grand Final on October 4, 2026, at Plough Lane.
Jason Demetriou’s side raced into a 38-0 halftime lead and never looked back. Full-back Jimmy Meadows finished with a personal haul of 20 points from two tries and six goals, while Championship Player of the Year Gairo Voro also crossed.
The Broncos had already secured the League Leaders’ Shield in August and added the 1895 Cup by beating Widnes Vikings. They lost just one of their 24 regular-season games and were overwhelming favourites for the title.
Doncaster, who reached the final from fourth spot, managed only a 64th-minute Luis Johnson try. The match was the last professional outing for retiring Doncaster star Reece Lyne.
London are now expected to be confirmed in an expanded 15-team Super League in the coming weeks, capping a flawless season under new owners.
