Ishan Kishan tops ICC T20 rankings, Abhishek Sharma second

India’s Ishan Kishan now leads the ICC T20I batting rankings. Abhishek Sharma sits second, giving India the top two spots in the shortest format.
Kishan’s rise follows strong recent performances. He has been in fine touch at the top of the order. Abhishek, who led the charts earlier, drops to second but stays close behind.
India’s batting depth stands out. Shreyas Iyer jumped 18 places to seventh after his maiden T20I century in Lucknow against the West Indies. Tilak Varma holds tenth place. Four Indians now sit inside the top ten.
In the bowling charts, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan reclaimed the number one spot. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed slipped to second. India’s Varun Chakravarthy dropped to fifth, while Axar Patel climbed to seventh.
The rankings are updated every Tuesday by the ICC. They reflect player performances in recent T20 internationals. With more matches coming, the race at the top will stay tight. India’s batters will aim to hold their dominant position.
