Ishan Kishan in heated exchange after dismissal in Asian Games final

Tensions flared during the Asian Games men’s cricket final as Ishan Kishan exchanged heated words with Pakistan players after his dismissal at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin.
Kishan was clean bowled by spinner Arafat Minhas for 20 off 18 balls in the 14th over of India’s innings. As he walked back to the Indian dugout, words were exchanged between him and members of the Pakistan team, adding spice to the gold-medal clash.
Before his dismissal, Kishan reached a major milestone. He became only the second Indian after Suryakumar Yadav to score 1,000 T20I runs in a calendar year. He joins an elite list led by Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan, who scored 1,326 runs in 2021, while Suryakumar amassed 1,164 in 2022.
India went on to post 211 for 6 and beat Pakistan by 19 runs to win the cricket gold, completing a golden double after the women’s triumph.
