Prasidh Krishna Ruled Out of Third ODI, Kamboj Called Up

Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna will miss the third ODI against West Indies in New Chandigarh on Saturday after suffering a hamstring injury during the second match in Guwahati.
Krishna bowled only five of his ten overs, conceding 45 runs, before leaving the field. He has travelled to Bengaluru to report at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence.
Anshul Kamboj has been added to the squad as his replacement. The 24-year-old will compete with Mohammed Siraj for a place in the playing XI.
India have already sealed the three-match series 2-0 after a record 406-run chase in Guwahati, led by Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 223 and Rohit Sharma’s 101. Gill’s double century was the fastest in ODI history.
Saturday’s game at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Stadium will be the first men’s ODI played at the New Chandigarh venue. West Indies, who crossed 400 for the first time in ODIs in the second match, will be fighting to avoid a 3-0 whitewash.
