The Dallas Cowboys host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football on October 8. Kickoff is at 8:15pm ET at AT&T Stadium, streaming on Prime Video.

The Cowboys are 2-2 and riding a three-game streak of scoring 30 or more points. Their offense has found its rhythm after a slow start to the season.

Tampa Bay is 0-4 and badly hit by injuries. Quarterback Baker Mayfield is out with a thumb injury, and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is sidelined with a rib problem.

Rookie Jalon Daniels will make his second NFL start for the Bucs. The young quarterback showed flashes in his debut but faces a much tougher test on the road.

The Buccaneers won the last meeting 20-19 in 2024. Dallas are 8.5-point favorites this time, but Thursday games are rarely straightforward.

The Cowboys’ defense has been the weak link, giving up big plays at key moments. If Tampa’s young quarterback gets time, this could stay close.

Thursday night games often produce surprises, and a short week favors the home team. Expect a loud crowd in Arlington under the lights.
