Mississauga Masters crush Toronto Sixers by 92 runs

Mississauga Masters thrashed Toronto Sixers by 92 runs in the Canada Super 60 at BC Place in Vancouver on Sunday. Batting first, Mississauga posted 166 for 5 in their 10 overs. Toronto Sixers collapsed to 74 for 9 in reply, with only Kieron Pollard offering resistance through an unbeaten 40 off 24 balls, including five sixes. The Masters’ bowlers were ruthless. Saad Bin Zafar took 3 wickets for just 2 runs in his 2 overs, while David Wiese claimed 3 for 9. Kaleem Sana struck twice for 3 runs. The Sixers’ innings never recovered from a dreadful start. They lost their first three wickets without a run on the board, and at one stage were reduced to 12 for 3. Nicholas Pooran managed only 7. Earlier in the day, Vancouver Kings beat White Rock Warriors by 35 runs, and Brampton Blitz edged Montreal Royal Tigers by 7 runs in the 10-over tournament.
