PM Modi Gives ‘We Will Do It’ Slogan for Developed India by 2047

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a new slogan, 'We Will Do It', to rally the nation toward the goal of a developed India by 2047.
The slogan was highlighted in the October 8 national news roundup as the government pushes its Viksit Bharat vision for the country's centenary of independence.
Viksit Bharat 2047 is the government's roadmap for making India a developed nation. It covers the economy, infrastructure, education and technology.
Officials say the new slogan is meant to build public resolve. It echoes earlier mass campaigns that carried short, memorable lines.
The Prime Minister has often used slogans to frame national missions. 'We Will Do It' now joins that line of rallying calls.
The Union Cabinet also passed a resolution this week marking Modi's 25 years as a head of government, a milestone his party is celebrating.
Government outreach programmes are expected to carry the slogan. Schools, ministries and state governments may adopt it in campaigns.
The 2047 target gives India just over two decades. The slogan sets the tone for the work the government says lies ahead.
