PM Modi likely to address nation on October 7 at Seva Jyoti event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address the nation on October 7 from the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, at the Delhi BJP’s ‘Seva Jyoti’ programme, according to party sources.
About 5,000 people are expected at the venue. ‘Seva Jyoti’ processions will be taken out from organisational mandals across Delhi, with party workers and supporters joining before the main gathering.
The programme marks Modi completing 25 years in public life – he took oath as Gujarat Chief Minister on October 7, 2001. It is part of the BJP’s ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, a month-long campaign from September 17 to October 17.
Delhi BJP president Harsh Malhotra, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Delhi MPs and MLAs, and national office-bearers are expected to attend. Follow-up events are planned through October 10, including a programme at Pusa where the Prime Minister will address bike rally participants. On October 8, Union Health Minister JP Nadda will attend an event at Bharat Mandapam. Home Minister Amit Shah will visit the Matiala assembly area on October 9.
