Delhi to hold voter enrolment camps on October 11

Delhi's election office will organise special voter enrolment camps at all polling stations on October 11, aiming to register young and first-time voters.
The camps follow similar outreach drives held in colleges on October 7 and 8, where officials helped students check their names on the electoral rolls and file enrolment forms.
At the October 11 camps, citizens can verify their entries in the voter list, apply for new registration, and seek corrections to existing details. Booth-level officers will be present to assist.
The drive comes amid heightened attention on voter lists across the country, with the Special Intensive Revision exercise under debate in several states. Election officials say the goal is simple: no eligible voter should be left out for want of paperwork.
Young voters form a large and growing share of the electorate, and officials are keen to catch them early. Those who turn 18 by the qualifying date can register at the camps with proof of age, address and identity.
