The BJP will hold its first collective meeting of newly appointed state in-charges and co-in-charges on September 29 in New Delhi. Party president Nitin Nabin will chair the session at the party's national headquarters, according to party statements and reports.

The meeting brings together in-charges and co-in-charges covering 28 states and eight Union Territories, 36 in all. The appointments were announced on September 23 as part of an organisational reshuffle, with senior leaders including Smriti Irani assigned states such as Haryana and Chhattisgarh, and Vinod Tawde placed in charge of politically important Uttar Pradesh, according to reports.

According to party sources, the agenda covers organisational priorities, ongoing programmes and preparations for upcoming Assembly elections in several states. The session is expected to set the tone for coordination between the central leadership and state units.

It will be the first test of Nabin's new team structure ahead of a busy electoral calendar, as the party lays out its organisational roadmap for the states.
