Saiyami Kher calls Pal Bhar Ke Liye emotional journey
Saiyami Kher has called her new film Pal Bhar Ke Liye her most emotional journey since Ghoomer. She spoke about the film in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama.
“There is a beautiful simplicity to this story, yet every scene carries so much emotional weight,” she said. The actress said the role truly changed her as a person.
The film is directed by Vikram Phadnis, the well-known fashion designer. It is his Hindi directorial debut after two Marathi films, Hrudayantar and Smile Please.
Pal Bhar Ke Liye had its world premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2026 in August. The screening received a standing ovation from the audience.
The film stars Tahir Raj Bhasin and Viineet Kumar Siingh alongside Saiyami. Saiyami said she surrendered completely to Phadnis’s vision while playing the layered role.
She had earlier returned to IFFM after Ghoomer opened the festival in 2023. The release date of Pal Bhar Ke Liye has not been announced yet.
