Ravi Kishan is set to headline a new devotional drama presented by Mahaveer Jain Films, in what will be a rare solo-lead Hindi outing for the actor-politician. The untitled film, written and directed by Amit Aarryan, explores the bond between a man and God, with the protagonist treating the Almighty as his closest friend.

The project is described as a clean, wholesome family entertainer that blends spirituality with humour, emotion and drama. It will be produced by Mahaveer Jain Films along with Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Vinayak Kumar, Kavin Shah and Shikha K Ahluwalia, with RatPack Stories’ Vijay Subramanium and Kshitij Mehta also attached.

Filming is expected to begin in January, with the title yet to be locked and an official announcement to follow. The film marks Kishan’s second collaboration with Mahaveer Jain after Naagzilla, and comes as the actor rides high on the success of Mirzapur The Movie, his award-winning turn in Laapataa Ladies and Maamla Legal Hai.
