Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha was flown to Mumbai by air ambulance after suffering a spinal fracture in an accident in Bali.

Nushrratt had travelled to Bali for a work commitment and extended her stay. Reports say the accident happened during the shoot of an upcoming film starring Tiger Shroff, directed by Remo D’Souza. Pashmina Roshan, Abhishek Banerjee and Elvish Yadav are also part of the project.

She was first treated at a hospital in Bali. Videos of her arrival in Mumbai showed her being taken on a stretcher to an ambulance.

Her team said she will undergo surgery in Mumbai. The statement said her immediate priority is her health and that her work commitments over the next few weeks are likely to be affected.

The team requested privacy and said updates will be shared when appropriate. It thanked fans for their concern and good wishes.

Nushrratt was recently announced as part of the Tiger Shroff film, their first on-screen collaboration. Her last release was the comedy thriller Ufff Yeh Siyapaa.
