Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have announced they are expecting their second child. The Bollywood couple shared the news on Instagram on October 7.

The joint post featured a tender photograph of tiny white knitted baby booties. The couple's elder daughter Saraayah's hand also appeared in the frame.

"Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude," the couple wrote in the caption.

The announcement drew a flood of congratulations from fans and film industry friends. Several Bollywood personalities were among those who sent wishes in the comments.

Kiara and Sidharth first worked together in the 2021 war drama Shershaah, in which he played Captain Vikram Batra and she played Dimple Cheema. Their on-screen pairing soon turned into a real-life relationship.

They married on February 7, 2023, in an intimate ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

The couple have largely kept their daughter away from public attention, choosing to protect their family's privacy.

On the work front, Kiara was recently seen in Toxic alongside Yash. Sidharth's latest release is the folk fantasy thriller The Vvaan.
