IIFA 2027 heads to Abu Dhabi with Maniesh Paul
The International Indian Film Academy Awards will return to Abu Dhabi for their 27th edition, scheduled for 22 and 23 January 2027.
Actor and host Maniesh Paul is set to bring his trademark energy to the hosting duties, according to reports. Paul is a familiar face at award shows and is known for his quick wit and audience rapport.
Abu Dhabi has hosted the IIFA weekend before, and the emirate’s large South Asian population makes it a natural venue for the celebration of Hindi cinema. The two-day event typically includes a green carpet, technical awards, and the main ceremony.
The IIFA Awards honour the best of Bollywood each year, with winners chosen by a mix of industry voting and fan participation. The 2027 edition will celebrate films released through 2026.
