Ranbir Kapoor turned 44 on September 28, 2026, celebrating outside his new Mumbai bungalow Krishna Raj by cutting three cakes, including one shaped like the number 44. He thanked the waiting paparazzi with folded hands and posed for photographs.

Kapoor wore a grey co-ord set and sunglasses. His wife Alia Bhatt joined him to wave at fans from the balcony. His mother Neetu Kapoor posted a birthday wish on Instagram for her son.

His next film is Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1, in which he plays Lord Rama alongside Yash, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol and Ravie Dubey. Part 1 releases on November 8, 2026, with Part 2 slated for Diwali 2027. He is also due in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War with Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt in January 2027, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal Park, and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part 2.

Co-star Ravie Dubey posted a tribute, writing about Kapoor’s humility and commitment: “I’ve watched his humility, his commitment, and the depth of his investment in every moment.
