Hanuman Ansh Telugu Version to Clash on Oct 9

The Telugu version of Hanuman Ansh will release on October 9. Hombale Films, the studio behind KGF, Salaar and Kantara, is bringing the film to Telugu audiences. The release will directly clash with Trivikram Srinivas’s Aadarsha Kutumbam, starring Venkatesh. The clash has an unusual backstory. Trivikram had earlier announced that he would present Hanuman Ansh in Telugu. That plan was shelved last month, and his name was removed from the posters. Now the same film will open on the same day as his own film. It is not clear if the date was chosen to compete with Trivikram’s film. The makers have not confirmed the reason for the clash. Hombale Films has acquired the South rights for a high price, and dubbing is complete. The Hindi original, made on about 2 crore rupees, has grossed around 400 crore rupees worldwide. Aadarsha Kutumbam’s trailer releases on October 6, and advance bookings open on October 7.
