Drishyam 3 Sells 2.5 Lakh Advance Tickets, Eyes Rs 50 Crore Opening

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: The Conclusion has recorded massive advance bookings ahead of its release, selling 2.5 lakh tickets for day one.
The film is eyeing a Rs 50 crore opening day, which would make it Ajay Devgn’s biggest opener. Trade reports say the film sold 1.29 lakh tickets in the first phase of advances and has continued to surge.
Drishyam: The Conclusion marks the 11th collaboration between Ajay Devgn and Tabu. The pair first starred together in Vijaypath in 1994 and went on to work in films including Haqeeqat, Thakshak, Drishyam and Drishyam 2.
Their previous collaborations include the blockbusters Golmaal Again, which made Rs 311 crore worldwide, and Drishyam 2, which earned Rs 345 crore worldwide.
Trade analysts expect the film to become the biggest grosser for both actors, with seven successes out of their 11 releases together. The film releases in cinemas on October 2, clashing with The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest.
The thriller franchise, directed by Abhishek Pathak, has built one of Bollywood’s most loyal audiences over its first two parts.
