Hanuman Ansh Crosses Rs 300 Crore in 55-Day Slow-Burn Run

Hanuman Ansh has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the India box office, becoming only the second 2026 release to reach the milestone after Dhurandhar The Revenge.
The film collected Rs 1.56 crore on Day 55, Wednesday, taking its India net total to Rs 301.40 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama.
The journey has been extraordinary. Hanuman Ansh opened with just Rs 0.10 crore and collected only Rs 1.07 crore in its first week. Business exploded from week four onwards, with Rs 62.15 crore in week four and Rs 90.65 crore in week five.
Week six added Rs 76.37 crore and week seven Rs 39.41 crore, as word of mouth kept the film running across thousands of shows.
Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film is a devotional biopic based on the early life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba. Shobhinaw Satyaa plays the saint, with Purnima Tiwari as his wife.
Trade analysts say its slow-burn success, built entirely on audience support over two months, is one of the most unusual box office journeys of 2026.
