Lionsgate has released the first teaser for "Day Drinker," the Marc Webb-directed nautical thriller reuniting Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz for their fourth film together, alongside Madelyn Cline. The film is set to reach theatres on March 26, 2027.

The teaser follows a private-yacht bartender, played by Cline, whose encounter with a mysterious grey-haired guest, played by Depp, pulls her into a criminal underworld run by a dangerous figure played by Cruz. Depp's voice-over muses: "Perhaps it's a tale of revenge. Or perhaps something worse."

The project reunites Depp and Cruz after Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Murder on the Orient Express. For Cline, it marks her first major film project since Netflix's Outer Banks, according to reports.

The teaser's unnerving tone has even drawn attention from horror outlets, which noted Depp's character reading as "a force of evil." Fans will have to wait until spring 2027 to learn what the mystery guest really is.
