Akshay Kumar and director Sajid Khan are reuniting for an out-and-out comedy, nearly 14 years after Housefull 2. The untitled film will also star R Madhavan, Disha Patani and Shriya Saran, according to a Mid-Day report published on October 4.

The film is being produced by Ektaa R Kapoor. It is described as a comedy of errors revolving around middle-aged men, mounted on a grand scale, with Disha and Shriya as the romantic leads.

Akshay and Madhavan shared the screen in the courtroom drama Kesari Chapter 2 in 2025. This will be their first pairing in a full Sajid Khan comedy. A source told Mid-Day that Madhavan is excellent at comedy but has not done this kind of role before.

The film is expected to go on floors in London by the end of the year or early 2027. Akshay will first wrap up Samuk, Kanishk Varma’s alien survival thriller, while Sajid finishes Hero Ki Horrorine.
