Delhi University has extended the admission deadline for its School of Open Learning (SOL) for the 2026-27 academic session. Fresh reports on September 29 say students can now apply until September 30 for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The extension gives applicants a final window to complete their forms. SOL offers distance-learning degrees that allow students to study while working or handling other duties.

Earlier, one report had mentioned October 13 as the last date, but the latest updates point to September 30. Students should check the official SOL website for the confirmed schedule before applying.

SOL is one of the largest distance-learning institutions in the country, with lakhs of students enrolled across programmes. Its degrees hold the same value as regular DU degrees for jobs and higher studies.

The university usually sees heavy traffic on its admission portal near the deadline. Applicants should keep marksheets, ID proof and photographs ready. Candidates who miss the cutoff may have to wait for the next cycle.
