TCS Signs Porsche Partnership, Best Buy AI Centre Deal

Tata Consultancy Services has signed a five-year strategic partnership with Porsche AG. The deal was announced alongside the company’s second-quarter results.
TCS will set up a dedicated AI Mobility Centre of Excellence for Porsche. It will drive innovation in manufacturing, engineering and customer experience.
As part of the deal, TCS will acquire MHP, Porsche’s Germany-based management and IT consulting subsidiary. The partnership and acquisition need regulatory approvals.
TCS also signed an agreement with Best Buy. It will take over the retailer’s Global Capability Center in India and transform it into an AI Capability Center.
Chief executive K Krithivasan said the Porsche and Best Buy deals represent ‘a new category of transformation partnerships’.
The wins contributed to total contract value of $9.6 billion for the quarter. Annualised AI revenue at TCS crossed $3.1 billion.
The deals underline how AI is reshaping IT services. Clients now want partners that can industrialize AI, not just run pilot projects.
TCS said the two partnerships are a new category of business. They combine large-scale outsourcing with joint AI development.
