Kautilya Economic Conclave Begins Today in Delhi

The fifth Kautilya Economic Conclave begins in New Delhi today. The three-day event runs from October 3 to 5 with the theme ‘Resilience in an Age of Flux’.
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will deliver the inaugural address. The conclave is one of India’s leading platforms for economic policy debate.
More than 180 participants are expected. Over 80 international delegates from 30 countries will join discussions on growth, trade and financial stability.
Sessions will cover global supply chains, digital economies and the future of work. Policymakers, central bankers and industry leaders are on the speaker list.
The conclave comes at a time of trade tensions and slowing global growth. India’s own economy has been growing at over 7 per cent.
The event is organised by the Institute of Economic Growth with support from the finance ministry. Its recommendations often feed into policy thinking.
The conclave ends on October 5 with a closing policy roundtable.
