Health Care At Home India (HCAH) and QMS Medical Allied Services announced on September 28 a strategic merger of their pharma patient-support businesses into Saarathi Healthcare, a QMS subsidiary.

The combined platform will operate more than 160 patient support programmes serving over 1.2 million patients, according to QMS. It will be supported by more than 2,000 professionals across over 35 cities.

QMS chairman and managing director Mahesh Makhija said the combination brings together two complementary platforms with strong capabilities in patient support and engagement. “We aim to create greater scale, reach and execution capability for pharmaceutical companies while helping more patients access the support they need,” he said.

HCAH non-executive director Aditya Burman said the merged platform offers the reach, technology and execution capability to support patients and pharma partners across the continuum of care.

QMS said its healthcare-services business had a turnover of Rs 37.17 crore as of March 31, 2026. The scheme remains subject to shareholder, NCLT and other approvals.
