Sensex, Nifty Fall as Crude Oil Stays Near $105

Indian shares ended lower on 29 September as Brent crude stayed near $105 a barrel and bond yields climbed, hurting investor mood across Asia.
The Sensex and Nifty slipped as high oil prices raised fears of costlier imports and sticky inflation. Rising bond yields added pressure by making safer assets more attractive. which could delay interest rate cuts.
Global markets were also weak, with investors worried about energy costs and central bank policy. Foreign investors have been selling Indian shares in recent sessions. Analysts say a sustained fall in crude below $100 could bring buyers back.
Analysts expect a cautious opening on 30 September. They say markets will watch crude prices and any news on the India-US trade talks for direction. The rupee's movement will also be watched.
Traders said foreign investors sold banking and IT shares, while energy stocks gained on higher crude. Domestic investors bought on dips, which limited the fall.
