Drishyam The Conclusion Theatres Add Post-Midnight Shows
Theatres across Mumbai have added post-midnight shows for Drishyam The Conclusion. The Ajay Devgn film opened in cinemas on October 2, Gandhi Jayanti.
Interestingly, Maxus Bhayander has gone a step further and is showing Drishyam The Conclusion practically round the clock. The cinema has scheduled six shows at 12:35 am, 1:05 am, 2:05 am, 3:05 am, 4:05 am and 5:05 am, making it a 24/7 affair for the film.
The demand comes from strong advance bookings. The film sold about 8.82 lakh tickets for day one in advance, worth about 31.65 crore rupees, according to Sacnilk.
Theatres are charging premium prices for the film. Rates are in line with Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Dhurandhar The Revenge, the biggest recent releases.
Trackers estimate a day-one total of about 55 crore rupees.
Drishyam The Conclusion is the third film in the hit franchise. The first two parts were among the most profitable Hindi films of their years.
