Skoda raises car prices up to 1.2% from October 1

Skoda Auto India has increased prices across its model range by up to 1.2 per cent, effective October 1, 2026. The hike translates to a maximum increase of Rs 20,000 depending on the variant.
The price revision covers the Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq. The company cited rising input and operational costs as the reason for the adjustment. The move follows similar increases announced by other carmakers this festive season.
The timing is notable. Skoda is preparing to launch the Slavia facelift on October 6, and the price hike applies to the current range ahead of the new model's arrival. Dealers say festive demand remains strong despite the increases.
Industry watchers expect more manufacturers to revise prices upward in the coming weeks as commodity and logistics costs stay elevated. For buyers, the hike adds a few thousand rupees to on-road prices across Skoda's lineup. The company has not indicated any further revisions for now.
