World’s largest longevity conference opens at Harvard

The world's largest conference dedicated to longevity biotechnology has opened at Harvard University. The 13th Aging Research and Drug Discovery meeting runs from October 1 to 3 at the David Rubenstein Treehouse in Boston.
Organised by Insilico Medicine, the event brings together scientists, pharmaceutical executives, investors and regulators. Eli Lilly is a Tier-1 sponsor alongside the organisers, and FDA representatives are attending. The McKinsey Health Institute is the sole knowledge partner.
The October 3 programme focuses on future technology, with presentations from David Sinclair, George Church, Vadim Gladyshev and other leading figures in aging biology. Investors from firms including Deerfield, OrbiMed and UBS are examining the financing of longevity biotechnology.
The field has moved from theory to multi-billion-dollar pipelines, with top pharma companies developing programmes targeting cellular aging. Organisers say the goal is extending healthy lifespan, not just lifespan. Sessions also cover AI-driven drug discovery and the regulatory path for aging therapies. Startups are using the event to pitch investors on new approaches.
