Lloyds Metals iron ore output up 36% in H1 FY27

Lloyds Metals and Energy has reported its best-ever first-half operational performance. Iron ore production reached 10 million tonnes in H1 FY27, up 36 per cent from a year ago.
Pellet production surged 372 per cent to 3.8 million tonnes after the company commissioned its second 4 million-tonne pellet plant at Konsari. Total annual pellet capacity now stands at 8 million tonnes, running at full utilisation. Direct reduced iron output doubled to 343,064 tonnes, up 104 per cent, with utilisation above 90 per cent.
The company also reported 4,389 tonnes of copper production for the half year. It remains on track for its full-year target of 26 million tonnes of iron ore.
The numbers show Lloyds Metals shifting decisively toward higher-value products like pellets and DRI. Investors will now watch the commissioning of its BHQ beneficiation plants, needed to process 8.7 million tonnes of mined material. The stock has drawn strong investor interest on the operational momentum.
