Apple Plans October 13 Launch for Smart Home Hub, HomePod Mini

Apple plans to unveil an all-new smart home hub, a new HomePod mini and a new Apple TV 4K on October 13, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
The brand-new product is expected to be Apple’s long-awaited smart home hub, reportedly featuring a 6 to 7-inch square display, an A18 chip or newer, a FaceTime camera and Siri AI support. Tabletop and wall-mounted versions are expected.
The HomePod mini, last updated in 2020, is expected to get a newer chip, improved sound quality, Apple’s N1 networking chip with Wi-Fi 7 support, a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip and new colour options including pink and green.
The Apple TV 4K is expected to move to an A19 or A19 Pro chip with up to 12GB of RAM for Apple Intelligence and Siri AI workloads.
Siri AI is expected to be the key new feature across the devices. Gurman reported it is unclear whether Apple will host a full event or release the products through press announcements.
