Ayushmann, Sara’s ‘Udta Teer’ Trailer Out; Film Releases October 9
Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment have released the trailer of Udta Teer, the espionage satire starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan. The film will release in cinemas nationwide on October 9, 2026.
The trailer, launched on September 24, introduces debut director Akash A Kaushik’s high-energy mix of action, chaotic comedy and identity mix-ups. The Central Board of Film Certification has granted the three-minute, 21-second trailer a UA 16+ rating. The studio is promoting it with the tagline ‘Ek nayi comedy udegi seedha aapke dil tak’.
The film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain. Music is by Sachin-Jigar, and the trailer features train fights and explosive chase sequences built for the festive season.
Udta Teer arrives a week after the Dussehra weekend and will face competition from holdover releases. With Ayushmann’s comedy track record and Sara’s growing box-office pull, the trade will watch its opening closely when it hits theatres next Friday.
