Neurable One Headphones Track Brain Activity With 12 EEG Sensors

Neurotechnology company Neurable has launched Neurable One, premium headphones with 12 EEG sensors built into the ear pads that track brain activity through the day. The device is available in the United States for $499.
The headphones combine active noise cancellation with continuous brain tracking. A companion iOS and Android app turns brain signals into real-time insights on focus, cognitive load, cognitive speed and ‘brain battery’. Features include focus sessions that flag drifting attention and smart break reminders when mental fatigue sets in.
Neurable says its AI platform has been validated by the US Air Force and the Mayo Clinic. The Boston-based company has raised more than $45 million and previously worked with HP’s HyperX brand on brain-sensing gaming headsets.
The launch pushes consumer neurotechnology further into everyday wearables, joining a wave of devices that promise to make brain health as trackable as steps or heart rate. Neurable also licenses its sensing technology to other device makers.
