Oracle has launched Fusion Claw, a governed execution system that lets AI agents complete complex business tasks inside its Fusion cloud applications.

Announced on Monday from Austin, Texas, Fusion Claw pairs frontier AI models such as Gemini and OpenAI with deterministic enterprise computing — so the AI plans the work while conventional software carries out the repeatable steps.

It ships with 25 new agentic applications across finance, HR, supply chain and sales, taking Oracle’s portfolio to 75 apps that can finish entire workflows rather than just assisting with them.

Governance is the selling point: companies set objectives, permissions and approval limits through an “Enterprise Operating Envelope”, and each run produces an auditable “Outcome Receipt” recording decisions and actions taken.

CEO Mike Sicilia said the product moves customers “from AI assistance to execution”, letting AI take on more work while people set the guardrails.

Investors liked it — Oracle shares rose 3.9% to $137.79 on heavy trading after the announcement, easing worries about its data-centre spending.
