PEN Marudhar has won the all-India theatrical distribution rights for 'Gunmaaster G9' after a multi-studio bidding war, Bollywood Hungama reported on Monday.

The Emraan Hashmi-starrer is scheduled to release on November 27, 2026, and the buzz around it has been building fast. The film's teaser has crossed 22 million views on YouTube, while the song 'Afsaana Banaaya Aapne' — which reunites Emraan Hashmi with composer Himesh Reshammiya after nearly two decades — has clocked over 43 million views.

The film stars Emraan Hashmi alongside Genelia D'Souza, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Singh, and is directed by Aditya Datt. It is produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut and Sangeeta Ahir, and presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment.

PEN Marudhar's Jayantilal Gada said the company was confident of the film's theatrical prospects, coming on the back of the banner's recent successes. The distribution deal, secured amid competing bids, signals strong trade expectations for the film, which is positioned as a mass entertainer for the late-November slot.
